Maine Coon
Size: One of the largest domesticated cat breeds, they can weigh anywhere from 10 to 25 pounds.
Temperament: Known for being gentle, friendly, and affectionate, Maine Coons are often referred to as "gentle giants." They are social, enjoy being around their families, and tend to get along with other pets.
Personality: Maine Coons are known for being intelligent, playful, and curious, but they are also laid-back and not overly demanding. They can be independent but enjoy interaction and affection on their own terms.
Appearance: They have long, luxurious fur and tufted ears, with a bushy tail that resembles a raccoon’s (hence the name). Their fur requires regular grooming to prevent matting.
Exercise Needs: While not as hyperactive as some other breeds, they enjoy interactive play and mental stimulation.
Go for a Maine Coon if you want a gentle, affectionate companion who is large, calm, and loves family interaction.
